Toilets / showers

What about hygiene?Toilets
Toilets are freely accessible and you'll find them just about everywhere, whether on the festival grounds or directly inside the camp. On the whole, men will be luckier, as there's never a wait to get to the urinals. If you want to sit down, however, don't wait until the last moment to get there, as there will be a wait. Especially when you wake up.
Showers
As far as showers are concerned, it's double or nothing.
Hot showers cost 1 token and are located in individual cabins inside a tent. If you're a fan of cold showers, they're free, but you'll have to shower outside, in full view of everyone. The less modest (or more confident?) will dare to do so in Adam's clothes. If in doubt, take a bathing suit with you.
In the event of a shortage of hot water (with a thought for the girls at camp 4 in 2023), the showers will be free. So keep in mind that if you're unlucky, you could be in for a cold shower. As a fallback or makeshift solution, I've seen campers come with travel showers. It's not a bad idea after all, provided you keep your balloon warm all afternoon.
I advise you to go either directly at the end of the day (after 11pm), or to wait until the middle of the night (around 4am). Just avoid going after the after-party or immediately after waking up, as it's likely to be overcrowded. Note also that next to the showers you'll find electrical outlets that will be your best friends if you need to recharge an appliance for a few minutes, to plug in your shaver or hairdryer.
Last but not least, remember to keep a token in your pocket if you're still planning to take a hot shower on your last day. But it's up to you to decide whether to sacrifice your last token between a hot shower and a cold beer. You've been warned.
