Warming up your calves!

Are you ready to walk?

Camps 0 to 4 are relatively close to the festival grounds, where you can rest throughout the day if you wish. The first camps are reserved for people wishing to stay in teepees or tents pre-assembled in the Defqon.1 colors. The next camps are reserved for campers who come by bus (bus camp and friends camp). To give you an idea, it's a twenty-minute walk from the main stage to a tent on camp 4.

Camps 5 and 6 are on the other side of the road. I'm personally going to have a big think for you if you go camping there, because your calves are going to get hot. Staying at camps 5 or 6 means that, given the distance involved, there's a good chance you won't be able to make it back and forth several times a day to rest at your camp.

If you're coming by car, there's a very good chance you'll end up on pitches 5 or 6, as Q-Dance increasingly favors bus travel.

Opt for a cart

Depending on where you're staying, the walk can be (very) long, so be aware. If you're in good physical condition, you'll have no problem getting everything from the bus or your car to the camp.

If, on the other hand, you choose to come with your house or with the intention of opening a bar, you'll need a cart. Choose a folding cart with sturdy wheels, as the road is not paved everywhere. This will also save you several trips back and forth if you're also bringing the neighbor's house as well as your own.

Some do-it-yourself festival-goers go a step further, building their own carts with built-in speakers, while others choose to use decorated garbage cans. It's all in a day's work if you don't want to burn out on your first steps.
