Access to the festival

If you're lucky enough to come at the right time, your wait will be relatively short. By "good timing" I mean that you're lucky enough to arrive between two waves of buses, or at a later time than the others. If, on the other hand, a flood of festival-goers arrives at the same time as you, you'll certainly have to be patient, as each barrier is relatively slow to get through.

There are several steps to gaining access to the festival:

• First step: verification of your ticket (including the recycle token).
• Second step: handing over your festival wristband
• Third step (optional): search
• Fourth step (optional): handing over your bus camp wristband

Checking the ticket

Nothing extraordinary to say here. You present your paper ticket or the barcode on your phone, someone checks it and you're in. Simple. At the same time, this person will give you a recycle token. This will be your best ally in avoiding having to pay for a container (cup) when you go to the bar.

Delivery of the festival bracelet

The bracelet will be sealed directly onto your wrist. It will give you access to the festival grounds throughout the weekend. Each time you pass through security at the festival entrance, you show it and you're in. To be transparent, I don't know if it's because mine was clearly visible or not, but I was never slowed down by the slightest wristband check when passing through the festival gates.

Search

For the search, it's up to the camper, and especially depending on how busy it is. For my part, I avoided it every time and didn't waste any time at this stage. To tell you the truth, in 2023 we were unlucky because we were stuck in traffic for several hours and didn't get off the bus until mid-afternoon. On this occasion, I felt that the security guards were more flexible, certainly to ensure a smoother flow of passengers.

So don't be surprised if a security guard asks you to throw away the bottles of Jägermeister you thought you'd hidden under your cart.

Presentation of camp bus wristband

This stage only concerns people who will be camping on site. Depending on your camp, you will have to go to the camp reception. There you'll pick up a wristband, which will allow you to leave the festival grounds and return to the campsite at any time. To be honest, to this day I still haven't understood its real use on site.
