I don't think there's a day that goes by without me listening to at least one hard music song.

For anyone suffering from the same syndrome as me there is a festival worthy of the name: Defqon.1.

I've been there twice now: in 2018 and in 2023.

What we don't see

Over the next few lines, I'm not going to introduce you to the various stages.

Q-Dance (the organisers) are very good at communicating and you'll certainly know what this event looks like.

Instead, I'm going to tell you about what you can't see, so that you too can enjoy the experience in the best possible conditions.

My feedback will cover an arrival by bus at a 'normal' campsite, for a whole weekend.

If you choose a different means of transport or accommodation to me, your first steps in the festival grounds will be different.

However, they will certainly have something in common with what follows.
